With over 10 years’ experience in the finance industry working with many different businesses and sectors, we have a great foundation of knowledge and expertise to offer.
We pride ourselves on our commitment to our clients and the quality of the service we provide. We especially enjoy working with small businesses as we often find they are managing a lot and we can really see the positive impact our services have.

Lava Sky Accounting was founded by Luna Ballard, a keen triathlete who is passionate about helping and supporting individuals and small businesses with your bookkeeping and accounting. When not playing with numbers time is spent swimming, cycling or running!
“After completing my sports science degree, I worked in the fitness industry and naturally over time, I set up my own personal training and triathlon coaching business. Being a keen triathlete and fitness enthusiast, I really enjoyed working with my clients and seeing them find the love for exercise and performance.
To my surprise, I found the running of the business and managing the finances the most interesting and engaging part, which prompted a desire to change careers. After gaining my first qualifications, I worked in accounting while completing my studies. Over the years I have been fortunate enough to lead finance teams for many different sectors including leisure, hospitality, retail, recruitment and banking.
It was always my desire to get back to running my own business and help others get to grips with their accounting, just as I had years previously. So, I started Lava Sky Accounting to offer bookkeeping and accounting services to support individuals and small businesses. This is where my passion for bookkeeping and coaching collide – taking the time to get to know each client I work with to help support them on their own business journeys."
